Our Graduate Graduate School of Engineering has set the mission of "creating new knowledge that will change the world." In order to create new knowledge that will change the world, it is important to acquire "identity (autonomy, independence, and expertise)" and "diversity (diversity, collaboration, and interdisciplinarity)" and to continue to take on the challenge of sustainable development and problem solving in today's complex and diverse society.
Therefore, to complete the Specialist degree course, students must have studied for the required period of time, received research guidance, acquired the required number of credits, and passed the completion review and final examination. In addition, the degree of Master of Technology Management (Specialist) will be awarded based on the following criteria, which is a consolidation of the nine items set by the university as a whole.

(A) Have basic knowledge and a sense of ethics regarding industrial technology development appropriate for someone with a Master's degree in Technology Management.
(B) To acquire knowledge that will enable technology management while being thoroughly familiar with the specialties of each industrial field.
(C) To acquire the ability to promote competitive technological innovation in industrial technology development.
(D) Have acquired the communication skills to accurately convey research results and development proposals, etc., as well as the language skills necessary to be able to communicate with the world in order to be active internationally.

① Curriculum composition policy
Department of Industrial Technology and Innovation (Specialist Degree Program) in the Graduate School of Graduate School of Engineering has organized a systematic curriculum consisting of general subjects (foundation subjects, management subjects, innovation subjects) and project research in order to enable students to acquire the abilities set out in the department's diploma policy.

② Policies regarding the content and implementation of education
In the common subjects, the subjects of foundation, management and innovation are set to acquire the abilities of viewpoints A, B and D. In the foundation subjects, the ability to acquire core knowledge that should be mastered as the basis of technology management, such as standardization, financial accounting, marketing, business management and risk management, is set. In the management subjects, the ability to acquire core knowledge for promoting strategic technology development centered on intellectual property and knowledge related to development according to industrial technology fields is set, with the aim of forming a theoretical foundation for strongly promoting industrial technology innovation. In the innovation subjects, the ability to acquire knowledge about technology development trends, product development trends, market trends, research and analysis methods, etc. specialized in four industrial technology fields (life, chemistry, machinery and information engineering) is set. In the project research, subjects such as industrial technology practical research, research and development planning, presentation training and field study are set to acquire the abilities of viewpoints C and D.

③ Policy regarding methods for evaluating learning outcomes
In order to develop engineers and researchers who have acquired the skills stipulated in the diploma policy, students are graded by exams and reports for lectures, and by reports and oral exams for experiments, practical training, and exercises. Course grades are expressed in five grades: S, A, B, C, and D, with S, A, B, and C being passes and D being a fail. Students who pass are awarded the designated number of credits. In addition, for dissertations, the examination criteria and methods are clearly stated, and the dissertation examination and final examination are conducted rigorously by the Dissertation Examination Committee based on theses.
